Release Notes - First Time Flows, Reliability & Polish
We’re back with one more quick update following some other platform stability work we’ve been working on!
These updates address production issues and user reports: contractors in an inconsistent state on the project team, contract terms not saving, allowances missing from invoice flows, and confusing errors after deployments or during signup. The goal is a more reliable and predictable experience across projects, invoices, and contracts.
As always, if you’re running into issues in Wethos, drop us a line at support@wethos.co.
Release Summary
March 9, 2026
This release improves reliability and polish across projects, invoices, contracts, and first-time user flows. You’ll see fewer loading errors after we deploy updates, more consistent behavior in the project team table, and smoother saving of contract terms and allowances. We’ve also fixed visual issues in the “Create your first project” experience and reduced unnecessary loading when moving around the app.
Bug Fixes & Improvements
Projects & team
Project team table — Resolved issues with contractor rows appearing in a bad state or with duplicate IDs. Actions like Payout, Resend invite, Copy email, and Delete now work correctly and consistently.
Create your first project — Fixed a visual bug in the “Create your first project proposal” modal so the layout and options display correctly.
Invoices
Allowances — Allowances are now correctly included in available amounts when creating or editing invoices, so totals and options stay in sync.
Contracts
Community contract terms — Fixed a race condition that could prevent contract terms from saving. Saving terms is now reliable.
New users & sessions
First login after signup — Fixed a race condition that could affect new users right after signup, so the first login experience is smoother.
Version updates — If you have an old tab open when we deploy a new version, the app now recovers cleanly (e.g. by refreshing to the latest version) instead of showing a broken or blank screen. Version checking on load has also been fixed to avoid unnecessary errors.
Performance & stability
Fewer redundant requests — Reduced unnecessary calls as you navigate, so the app feels more responsive.
