We founded Wethos after growing a studio just like yours.

From a scrappy creative studio to a scalable software business.

After quitting our jobs in advertising to pursue more meaningful work, we founded our own freelance studio to put together project-based teams for nonprofit organizations. In just 18 months, we generated $1.4 million in gross revenue and deployed over 150 diverse creative teams of the best and brightest. They tackled everything from running national awareness campaigns about voter suppression, to creating digital toolkits to combat police brutality.

But with our fast growth came the chaos of scale and a mountain of spreadsheets. From figuring out what to charge, to putting scopes of work together, to managing invoices and payments to collaborators, the paperwork never seemed to end.

We knew there had to be another way. We needed a new operating system, a better operating system. So we pushed our spreadsheets aside and got to work on building one. After years of data, research, development, and design, we brought Wethos into the world so we could make it easier for founders to start and scale their freelance businesses and help more people break 6-figures.

We know your pain because we’ve lived it ourselves. That’s what makes our product unlike any other.

Today, Wethos is the leading all-in-one software platform for freelancers and small studios. Confidently price your work, access hundreds of templates, create professional proposals, easily invoice clients, and seamlessly get paid without ever switching tabs.
